How Much Does it Cost?

FSC cannot offer you bargain rates, but reliable quality. The price for translation, proofreading or editing work is calculated based on the number of lines with 55 characters each (including spaces), as well as the degree of difficulty. We can also agree on a flat charge.

You are welcome to send me your text without any commitment, and I can send you an estimate. Please include any special requirements, such as an extremely tight deadline, courier services or if I am to use a particular set of corporate, professional or technical terms.

For texts that can be translated without any special difficulty, my orientation prices are as follows:

50 EuroCent / line- proof reading and simple editing
80 EuroCent / line - rough translation into the Portuguese language or from Portuguese into German or English (not fit for print, just to create an understanding of the text's contents)
100 EuroCent / line - translation into Portuguese

The above rates are not valid for works of literature. We need to talk about these.

Valid as of February 1, 2010. Please take a look at my General Terms and Conditions (AGB) (in German).
